Make sure your device supports eSIM. Most newer models do. Examples:
iPhone: XS, XR, and newer
Samsung: Galaxy S20, S21, Z Flip, Z Fold, etc.
Google Pixel: Pixel 3 and newer
Others: Many newer Android and iPad models
Select a provider that offers eSIMs for your location or travel destination. Options include:
International eSIM providers (for travel): Airalo, Zikair, Nomad, Ubigi, etc.
Local carriers (for residents): T-Mobile, AT&T, Etisalat, Du, etc.
Go to the provider’s website, select a plan (data-only or voice+data), and pay online.
After payment, you’ll get:
A QR code to scan
OR a manual activation code
Go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan
Scan the QR code or enter details manually
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Add Mobile Plan
Follow the prompts
Your phone may activate it instantly
Some providers require a restart or APN configuration
Use mobile data, make calls (if supported), or keep it for travel.
